PC to Phone We offer 2 different options when using our high quality, low-rate PC to Phone service. The first is our web-based dialer. Using the latest technology, you are able to make cheap phone calls through our web site, with no software to download. This is ideal when using a PC away from home (e.g. in Internet Cafes) and you are unable to download software to the machine you are using. You may choose to download our free software dialer. This option provides the same high quality calls as the web-based service, but removes the need to access our web site each time, so is the favored option of customers using the service from their own PC. When you sign up for an account, the login details we send you will work with either option or you can interchange between the 2 at any time. Your account can be used anywhere in the world, as long as the PC you are using meets our technical requirements. Device2Phone We also offer phone services using the latest IP (SIP) devices. These low cost devices connect directly to your existing internet connection and remove the need to make calls using your PC. You may purchase the device from us or from other VoIP Suppliers and we will configure and connect it to our network when you open an account with us. Contact us first to recommend compatible hardware. Web Callback You can our Web Callback service to have a phone to phone conversation without needing to be at your pc for the duration of the call. This is particularly useful when you want to have a conversation away from your pc, if you pay for your time online (dial-up services) or if your ISP has blocked the use of pc2phone services. Simply go our callback page, login and enter the 2 phone numbers you want to join together to talk. Once the calls are in progress, there is no need to stay by your pc. You can use this service in any part of the world! The same low rates are used for callback, as for our pc2phone service, but remember that as 2 calls are made, you will be billed for each call. SMS Callback Electops.net also provides a callback service to users who want to use our services when away from their PC. Callback allows registered users to send an SMS message from their mobile phone to our server containing the number they wish to call and the number they wish to be called back on. Our server will then make 2 calls - one back to the caller, the other to the called party and the 2 separate calls are then joined together, allowing the 2 parties to talk! Customers can also register their mobile phone number with their account, then our system will automatically call back their registered number and the number specified in the SMS. This is particularly beneficial to users: - who are traveling and away from their computer - whose internet service provider has blocked internet telephony - that don't have regular access to a computer Free Worldwide Calls Electops.net customers can now make and receive free calls from other Electops.net customers! There is no additional configuration required for the use of this service. It is free, Worldwide and automatically enabled for you when you get your Electops.net account! To make a call to another user, just dial 699 followed by their 6 digit user ID. For example, if their ID is 123456, you would dial 699123456. These free calls can be made from the web dialer, desktop dialer and any registered SIP hardware device. To receive a call, just ensure you are logged in and the dialer will display that you have an incoming call. Just click 'answer' and you will be connected. If you have a hardware device it will ring, just as a normal phone (assuming your device supports incoming calls - most do). If you don't already have an Electops.net account, get one here and ask your friends and family in any part of the world to also register. PINS Online If you do not want to register still want to enjoy our low rates, you can simply purchase PINS online. Our Online PINS have no activation fee and no expiry dates. What you buy is what you get and what you use. Online PINS however, do not enjoy free calls to other Electops.net accounts. Calling Cards Our Calling Cards are available at designated International Airports and shops. You only pay a one time 50 cents activation fee to enjoy our high quality calls at the same per second low rates. Once activated, your minutes never expire. No other hidden fees or charges. Calling Cards do not enjoy free calls to other Electops.net accounts. |
